BUS DRIVING WILL KILL YOU!

“Bus drivers are exposed to a lot of force and vibrations when they are driving,” said Karen Jacobs, clinical professor at Boston University’s College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College and former president of the American Occupational Therapy Association. “The next time you are on a bus, take a look at the driver. They are ... exposed to a lot of whole-body vibrations, which can be very detrimental to the body.”

Didn't I say this is part of the reason why insurance costs for bus drivers are high?

Bus Operators are simply subjected to so much physical wear that many other employees don't deal with - then through in emotional stress (from dealing with traffic and passengers).

Sure, my job is stressful...but I can hang up on a customer if it gets really bad, and then walk around the building to burn off my stress. Can a bus driver do that? Just kick the passengers off the bus and then go for a joyride to burn off stress?
