"First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win." ~Mahatma Gandhi
Note the disparity of headline to actual story!KGW's web site blindly picked up the story as is (from MSNBC?). I wrote them as follows:My goodness, what sloppy "journalism"! Your pick up of an MSNBC story about a TriMet driver cited for multiple driving violations [ http://www.kgw.com/news/TriMet-bus-driver-116710549.html ] blindly used the headline that states "driver fired...".If you read your own story you'll notice that he was suspended from driving, not summarily fired.Could it lead to firing? Possibly - but do you know that already? It's the equivalent of saying "Guilty criminal arrested."Let's allow for the pretense of due process in our brave new world of slagging bus drivers.
