Average rides per trip per line

Interesting that the 4 carries more than the 9 but the 4 runs closer to MAX...
12 has now pulled ahead of the 72 in productivity...72 of course is a little disadvantaged because it runs more vehicles per hour than the 12 does so its ridership is spread out over more vehicles.
You're forgetting that ALL of Line 4 and (almost) ALL of Line 72 are Frequent Service. The Broadway half of Line 9 and both outer ends of Line 12 are not.

I don't think it takes into account that a) some trips don't serve the entire line and b) some lines are a lot longer than others.
