TriMet's new bridge may come in higher than planned, and I'm not talking about its price tag
The link you provide says that the bridge will have a vertical clearance of 77 feet. If you google "sellwood bridge vertical clearance" you will see that the current sellwood bridge has 75 feet of vertical clearance.
I don't see how the new bridge introduces a new limitation.
