Didn't get the award...again!

Fritz Bentz, station agent, Center

Fritz Bentz is regarded by both customers and employees as one of the best station agents at TriMet. He’s competent in his duties as station agent, performing the task at hand without error and always with an eye to making the system more efficient. Fritz is also willing to do whatever is needed whether that’s assisting with Lost and Found, working in the money room, training others to run the Extra Board or helping operators with their runs. Sitting still isn’t in Fritz’s repertoire – he takes the initiative to do whatever is needed to make things run smoothly.
A customer states, “Fritz really worked hard to reunite me with my beloved bike and didn’t act like I was an idiot for leaving it on the bus; such excellent customer service. I will remember this experience with TriMet forever as I really never expected to get the bike back.”
A coworker says, “I just wanted to give my biggest thanks to Fritz for being such a great coworker. I’m always thankful when I get to work a shift with him.”
Thank you Fritz!

Robert Hawley, mini-run operator, Powell

In all his years at TriMet, Robert Hawley consistently exceeds expectations in all performance measures. He has a 96% on-time performance record, 100% attendance over the last five years and has received zero PAs (Preventable Accidents) in the last six years of driving. Recently he received a perfect score on a driving evaluation – his trainer noted that he did everything correctly, which is part of the reason he has not had a single collision in the past six years. Robert also actively participates in various committees at TriMet, seeing his involvement as an opportunity to give feedback and help affect change within the agency.
Congratulations Robert on your excellent performance!
