"First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win." ~Mahatma Gandhi
As a director of marketing(Drew Blevins),the end goal is putting fannies in the seats.I do not see too much emphasis on that aspect since I have been here. There are so many opportunities that are missed,ie concerts, trade shows, sporting events, pop culture, large employers, etc.I would like to see the call reports that should be generated by the marketing dept, showing who they called on for more transit ridership. As a frequent user of the route descriptions(I am a vacation relief driver),I find the directions that are given extremely difficult to follow. In some cases, the directions are just plain incorrect.Ken Zatarain needs to have his staff not only proof read the descriptions but actually ride the routes after he approves the individual paddles. Many of the routes that I drive are impossible to keep on time &/or do not have adequate break time on both ends. Some changes need to be made in the above two departments in my opinion.
