2011 Oregon Public Transportation Conference, October 23-26, Seaside, OR

Maybe ODOT needs to boost the ridership numbers of the bus - so why not throw a convention out in Seaside to make it happen?

Seriously...the Oregon Convention Center ought to be the default. Even Salem's Conference Center would be a better option. On the other hand...putting it in a place where people would HAVE to ride a bus...

Sunset Empire Transportation District also serves Seaside. And for better or worse, conferences like these are often held in "destination" locations; Las Vegas holds lots of them.
