The dispatcher informed the driver of the 'baby bus' that "she had to continue driving the bus" and there "was nothing we can do about it".
Obviously we do not have to do anything. Remember, safety is a value at TRIMET, and if the driver felt that continuing in route would jeopardize safety, then they should not continue to operate the bus.
The correct response from dispatch would have been, "if you feel unsafe driving the bus please park the bus until a supervisor gets there."
This dispatcher is not one of my favorites BTW.
