So how many years have you been with Tri-Met? I have been working for my company now for 14 years. I have been reading your blog for a couple of weeks now and I have noticed that your company has many of the same problems my company has. My company is big on the ADA issue. Personally, the want to be treated like everyone else but still want to claim special prividges. We recently have gone to automatic ADA annpuncements. They are a hell of alot nicer however, the company has paid thousands of dollars for this bullshit state of the art radio system complete with GPS and the damn thing doesnt work half the time so if you run early, they cant prove shit and the supervisors will usually take the word of the disgruntled customer. Our union, has some pretty good exec board reps and shop stewards so this is a good thing too. hang in there brother!
