The TriMet budget problems

This is pretty interesting actually. I filled out the questionnaire at the end and made one comment:
All employees making $100k or more a year need to take a 10% pay cut!
Also there is a shameless use of anti union propagandizing in this "tool"

Why stop at 10%? McFarlane makes $215k+ and is running the place into the ground. The Portland Median income is $51,100, so a 20% pay cut is beyond fair, McFarlane would still be making $172k. If employment trends are down, then all execs should be taking a cut to save their jobs. Also, Bonuses cut! No one gets a bonus if service is going to be cut, period!

Kevin Desmond, the GM of Metro made $182,474 last year, and runs a much better system.

It's obscene that the execs are making a fortune while the riders eat shit.
