Moving People - Transportation Spirit Award-TUALATIN!
Interesting how many people say public transit is great...if it just existed. Tualatin is the town TriMet forgot...you can't effectively move PEOPLE when the "Total Transit System" consists of one rush-hour bus that runs north-south, a bus that runs every 30 minutes or less that goes to the hospital but skips most of the neighborhoods, a worthless commuter rail system, and a handful of buses that stop just inside city limits (but well removed from the town's center)...and have no transit access to most of the city's residential, commercial or job centers.
