Letters

Can't find this online, but in the letters section of yesterdays Tribune there is a letter from a Richard Ferguson praising the enforcement efforts of a 12 line operator. Appartenly this operator was enforcing this "new policy" on New Years Eve (before 800PM I hope). Looks to me like it's a case of another stupid operator asking for a knuckle sandwich.

Al, you don't like it when mgmt. tells you how to do your job, but you're plenty judgemental and self righteous about how other drivers do their job. Sadly, your disdain for your fellow drivers is palpable, maybe it is time for you to retire.

Let me abbreviate:
1-This is a letter to me, which I agree 110%
2-I don't pretend to tell other operators what to do, EVER.
3-The opinions expressed on this blog are those of the authors, ONLY.
4-I have no influence over Trimet management or other drivers.

(retirement is most likely going to happen as I do not enjoy working here any more)

Hang in there; no need to get snarky.

Al, Mr.Hunt was articulate and presented ATU's position with precision and clarity at the recent Board meeting. Consider members support of Hunt at this critical time. He knows the issues and has a strong voice, help him use it.
