How many projects are wanted?

You might ask why TriMet is cutting back on buses and not light rail? If you connect the dots, you can see that TriMet is going along with light rail supporters in Portland and elsewhere, including Lake Oswego, by slowly eliminating the use of buses (and) leaving few choices for public transportation. After a period of putting up with fewer and less appealing alternatives, it may be that citizens will more readily accept light rail as a replacement mode of transportation. This seems to be the intention of government from the federal system on down to the local, from President Obama through Earl Blumenauer and Peter DeFazio through Governor Kitzhaber through the Clackamas County Commissioners to mayors Sam Adams and Jack Hoffman.
