PART TIME TRIMET DRIVERS

Don't miss this exciting OPPORTUNITY to be a FULL TIME bus operator! Trimet is moving people around!

LOSE all your vacation that you have built up as a PART TIME OPERATOR while working here at TRIMET!

Don't worry though, after you have WORKED ONE STRAIGHT YEAR you will get ONE WEEK OFF!

After you have served two years you will get your two weeks off per year until you make it too 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years.

You also get TO GO BACK TO THE BACK OF THE SENIORITY LINE!

JUST THINK, THE ROUTE 72's/4's/6's/and 8's among other HIGH QUALITY ROUTES ARE JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO TRY THEM AGAIN!

I'm sure they are MUCH BETTER than you remember them, especially since there ARE LESS OF THEM for riders to choose from!

But the good news is YOU TOO CAN MAKE UP TO $100K A YEAR.

All you have to do to make that kind of money is SPEND EVERY SINGLE HOUR OF YOUR LIFE AT TRIMET.
(you will have to take one day out of every 14 off however)

OR, you can make up to $70k a year by working the very common 10 hour shifts, just think, BACK AND FORTH, BACK AND FORTH, for 10 GLORIOUS HOURS!

LIFE DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!

Adding in time to get to and from work and time to sleep, YOU GET 4 WHOLE HOURS A DAY TO YOURSELF!

(weekends are all yours of course, but there is PLENTY OF OVERTIME IF YOU ARE NOT ONE TO ENJOY TIME OFF)

SO SIGN UP NOW, YOUR FUTURE AWAITS YOU AT TRIMET TRANSIT DISTRICT,

(just watch out for the spies, cranky people, unethical ignorant managers, and above all else, WATCH THE F$%K WHERE YOU ARE GOING BECAUSE YOU COULD END UP IN BIG TROUBLE IF YOU CRASH)

of course it is true that there are NO JOBS FOR ANYBODY ANYMORE in this glorious land of freedom and democracy and at least you still get decent pay and health here with an actual retirement benefit which is nowhere to be found in the land of freedom anymore.
This offer is subject to be changed without notice at the whim of a technocrat.

Of course, almost all of this has been true for years. And exactly the reason as a late career driver I was never tempted to make the jump from mini run. (Thank God I could afford to stay mini!)

Now, all drivers seem to work in a truly hostile workplace. When I was last there (two years ago)it was an impersonal work environment, but not acrimonious.

Agreed NED!
It's actually turned into a DANGEROUS environment.

You don't listen to the dispatch calls, I do.

I had always enjoyed working here, the last year I have dreaded working here.

I'm done with this mess.
