The Portland Tribune back on May 21st, 2004 coined the phrase "light rail mafia" referring to Neil Goldshmidt and his Trimet cronies Tom Walsh and Fred Hansen. Has anything changed since then? The only way to build ridership is to go back to square one: a modern, innovative, rapid and frequent service bus system. You go to where people are ,and you take them where they want to go!
