In addition to Mr. Zumalt's concerns, recognize that TriMet has no funds, abilty nor a plan to maintain safe operations, order maintenance, security or ongoing safety certification for the line. In other words, through borrowing and deb services amounting to millions of dollars, TriMet can build it..they cannot run it.
Given the reality of TriMet's current debt..if they shut down the entire bus and LIFT system..they can run trains, that's it.
