There's a reason why busses, trains, shelters and max stations smell like urine: Government/Trimet ignore the basic human right of providing a place to go.
Tell ya what. I'll open a restroom for ya'll ta use...but YOU get to be the one to clean it.
You get to be the one who can go in there after someone has left their feces on the wall and seat rim or didn't flush or plugged it up.
You get to be the one who cleans up after this bs..one after another after another..cause after all, it's not yours and you don't have to clean it up right? They got people for that!
(btw, the feces on the wall-that was a TM op, almost lost our restroom privledges at a contract site over that one, but the rest are "customers".)
Precisely why restrooms are not offered for the public anywhere else.
