RON HIENTZMAN INELIGIBLE FOR UNION OFFICE

Let union dues lapse
It turns out that Mr Heintzmans union dues had lapsed which disqualifies him from running for union office:"
Page 65 sec 14.2 ELIGIBILITY FOR L.U. OFFICER. "A member to be eligible to office must have been a member in continuous good standing of his or
her L.U. the (2) years next preceding the day of the nomination meeting where the L.U. has been in existence for that period or longer.

Mr Heintzman makes the following reply:
Someone forwarded me a Facebook posting in which Evette Farra is now claiming, five months after the nominations of officers, that I was not a member in good standing and therefore not eligible to run for office. In case you don’t remember, Farra was the Financial Secretary of ATU 757 at the time of the nominations, and provided dues records of all candidates to the Election Committee in determining eligibility. So the question now has to be asked. If the claim she now makes is true, which it is not, why didn’t she do her job back in May and provide the necessary records to the Election Committee in support of the claim she now makes? Is this another example of the incompetency of her time in office that was so widely reported during the election by all but one member of the local Union’s 14 member Executive Board, or is it another example of dishonesty? While serving as an executive officer of ATU 757, Farra refused to sign a confidentiality agreement that she would protect the confidentiality of all member records and information. Under her watch, hundreds of member’s social security numbers were allegedly made public. Farra left office on June 30, 2012, but is now publishing union records on the internet. All members of the Local Union should be greatly concerned about what other records she removed from the Union office for her personal use, and what information about you will she publish next. Remember, to be successful as a Union officer, you have to have integrity. When you are untruthful in your dealings, your integrity is compromised. Once your integrity is questioned, you can no longer serve effectively.
Crying wolf one too many times
