Trimet after action report-starlight

Trains being held for what was to be just a fun run and not timed event.  Officer’s stating it was not in their orders to bump trains; my understanding was they were going to be informed they would bump through the run. This caused issues on trains away from platforms.

Sunday morning incident

A man fell asleep/passed out at the 60th MAX station who had a dog. The dog was roaming around the platform.
Control/operator was concerned that the dog was going to get hit so they sent a supervisor check on the man.
The dog got on the train and traveled to 82nd avenue where the supervisor attempted to get it off.
However the dog was uncooperative being away from its owner.
They got the dog on another train going back to 60th ave.
By that time the man had woken up and had taken off down the tracks looking for the dog,
The supervisor went down the tracks and found the man, dog in tow.
Police came on another train and got off where the man was and arrested him.
The supervisor returned to the vehicle at 82nd avenue and found the windows shattered, glass all over the street.
Items were stolen from the vehicle.

WHY IS TRIMET BACKPEDALING ON BUSES ON THE NEW BRIDGE?

Why is the word POTENTIAL in there now?

JUST WAIT TILL THE DEMISE OF FARE LESS SQUARE

Ending fare less square for buses has propelled MAX's ridership figures, which are now  flattened out.
The 'reconfiguration' of the bus service will 'force' some people onto the MAX, for example after September there will no now way down the length of the transit mall except by MAX from NW Portland., which is absurd in my opinion.

AFTER ALL THE 'SAFETY' NONSENSE ACCIDENT RATE STAYS THE SAME

MONTH AFTER MONTH WE SEE TRIMET DOING BETTER THAN THEY PROJECTED

Yet they continue telling the public there is a problem?

coming to Trimet

At Sunday's Charter meeting we got to hear about the new buses, interesting to learn there are 2 Hidden Camera's... full audio, both can be Live Streamed. Glad Bruce Hansen mentioned how we must revisit the policy... I know C-Tran has this system and allot of the drivers like the security it provides. what do you think?
My comment~~> live streamed? what's wrong with that? there are many more instances of passengers abusing bus drivers than bus drivers screwing up...i personally think this sort of thing is to the benefit of drivers.... and i've was pushing for audio for a long time because video without audio only tells one side of the story-take a look at the baby bus driver incident-if the public could have heard that baby screaming it might have had a different outcome-and then there is the bogus 'you didnt call your stops' baloney-those of us that were calling our stops still got accused of not calling stops-with audio that can no longer happen

I want to warn you about voter suppression. What I mean about this is that these elections “are” rigged.

Obviously its the price of gas that is increasing ridership on transit

Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Nobody really wants to take public transit, its slow, not always reliable, and has some very unpleasant citizens to deal with. But as everything in our lives, its all about the money. Trimet fares are among the highest in the USA but an all day pass is just a little more than a gallon of gas. Trimet is competitive where it counts, cost! Ironically, just when American's need it the most-public transit is being dismantled by years of failed Federal policies, such as allowing a 1 1/2 billion dollar transfer from bus service to rail service right here at Trimet for the mystery train at the same time Trimet is pleading poverty. Insanity is the rule when it comes to our government.
