MAX train gets stuck (dispatch)

Trimet lies and distortions

This year’s Pride NW parade and festival are sponsored in part by TriMet.  When TriMet claims to be experiencing a historic “budget-shortfall” somehow it has money to throw away on sponsorship.

THE 'TACOMA' PLAN-trying to bring sanity back to TRIMET

No Light Rail in Vancouver!

The Trimet executives changed both the time and the place of its board meeting without proper public notice.
Have you noticed as I have that every-time something important is planned they move the meeting location and/or times?
Personally, I think its intentional.
Why did they change the time of this board meeting?
And what prompted them to change its location into a more obscure spot away from the beloved light rail lines.

“Some have learnt many Tricks of sly Evasion, Instead of Truth they use Equivocation, And eke it out with mental Reservation, Which is to good Men an Abomination.” (B Franklin)

One of the best arguments that OPAL has to make its point is the fact that our beloved executives have decided to DOUBLE the 'contingency fund' from $10 million to $20 million.
They want to cut the hell out of bus service, increase the fares for passengers at the same time they are hoarding cash!
This place operates on the corporate model and we as the public are in serious danger of losing our transit system completely.
The OPAL fight is the most important fight in the history of TRIMET.
Be there tomorrow and support them!

The resolution authorizing the borrowing will go down tomorrow morning.
