They actually spend ONE DAY enforcing transit mall rules
Eight PPD Traffic Division personnel conducted a “Share the Road”
mission in downtown Portland on Tuesday, August 28. During the mission
they focused not only on motor vehicle violations, but also pedestrian
and bicyclist violations resulting in 27 citations and 15 warnings. The
area extended from Burnside Street to SW Clay Street, and from Naito
Parkway to SW 14th Avenue, with a few officers focused entirely on the Transit Mall and MAX track violations.
Why are union employees excluded from working with customers
The Ride Guide program was set up in 2007 to provide a way for
administrative staff who don’t usually work with customers to do so.
Especially when there are major projects that require additional staff
be on the streets to answer questions and guide customers. It is limited
to administrative employees because it is during working hours and the
employee may be asked to perform duties that are not in the normal
scope of their position. ‘Ask Me’ duty was developed to provide an
opportunity for all employees, and friends and family, to help our
customers on days when we need even more folks on the street to help
with purchasing tickets and getting to and from large community events.
We have an upcoming ‘Ask Me’ opportunity for the Race for the Cure on
Sept. 15-16, if you are interested, sign-up online or by contacting Julie Monroe at . Have a question, just email us at

@trimet is worst transit systems on the planet. Trying to buy a pass shouldn't be an ordeal. Even my cash was denied. Work on that people!
THE BLOOD SUCKING BEGINS

Pay more and get less, too bad if you are forced to use the system.
The head vampire (Mcfuher) has already forced his vampire will on his hapless employees, many of which are also sheeple.
Trimet has also employed an army of COPS and FARE INSPECTORS to make sure the SERFS comply with the KINGS (Mcfuhrer) orders.
I remember when Trimess had a compassionate management and rider friendly policies. The JUDAS KITZHABER who was elected due to organized labor has shown his real stripes. Another republican posing as a democrat. He turned his back on labor and turned his back on the citizens. The system is a fix, the citizens are played for fools. And most of the citizens have assumed the role of sheeple anyway, accepting what big brother says. It's a tragic end to a once innovative and humane transit system.
Most people in Portland Drive, they know better than use this inefficient, scary, and unreliable system.
AND THE EXECUTIVE VAMPIRES LOST NOT ONE PENNY OF THEIR SIX FIGURE INCOMES-NOT ONE PENNY
