ON THIS DAY 4 YEARS AGO
WOW-the memories come rushing back! Now this was really a fascinating day in Trimet history! Regarding Fred's little budget statement, the stock market has completely recovered as of this date
ON THIS DAY 3 YEARS AGO
Now that I have started this trip down memory lane I am becoming somewhat fascinated by it. Every single event that was going on at Trimet or about Trimet has been documented and cataloged by me. It's actually an amazing collection of material. This old material is no longer available publicly but I am bringing it back now.
ON THIS DAY TWO YEARS AGO
These posts are not available publicly , links wont work, so we get to view the entire post . The volume of material I have is incredible. This was right in the middle of the harassment campaign by Trimet against me which eventually lead to my departure
How's that new 30 million dollar dispatch system
Doesn't look from blog central that the new system is working very well. The audio on these new radios comes in and out due to the repeater locations.
Colorful streetcar operator
We hear a lot from this particular operator. It's always interesting when he comes on the radio
According to Trimet-you can't smoke anywhere!
Q: I do not plan on quitting smoking when the smoking ban goes into effect –where do I go for my smoke break?
A: Anywhere smoking is legally allowed—most likely a public sidewalk at least 10 feet from an entrance, exit, window or air-intake vent. Oregon's Smokefree Workplace Law prohibits smoking in most public places and places of employment. Some people in this situation use a nicotine replacement product, such as gum or a lozenge. Have a question? Just Ask! Contact us at EmployeeCommunications@trimet.org.
