That bus was driven by a First Transit operator as part of contracted service through Community Transit (Snohomish County's public transit agency) that operates some of the Sound Transit commuter service from the Everett/Lynwood area into Seattle. Even though he is employed by a private company, he is a an ATU member (initially, First Transit employees were not members) and handled the situation well. Congratulations to him for getting the passengers off the bus safely.
