IF TRIMET EMPLOYEES WENT ON STRIKE TRAFFIC ON THE BANFIELD WOULD INCREASE 30%

The interesting part  here is how quick the pin heads in charge of Trimet are ready to give up information if it is helpful to them in contrast to their stalling and perpetual excuses when handing over information that is harmful to them.

It took me 3 months to get Fred Hansen's pension figure, something that should have been available immediately.

Truly despicable bunch of people running that place.

PolitiFact Oregon | Do 30 percent of Banfield and Sunset evening commuters use the MAX?

The people that wrote the article are dead wrong of course.

They assume every transit rider has a car, which is false.

My estimate is that 1/2 of transit riders are transit dependent and have no access to a car.

Therefore traffic on the Banfield would increase about 15%

Rember, the company said that the majority of riders are choice riders, which we know they have no other options.
Plus, I really would like to put to rest, this stike thing in the grave, WE DON'T NEED IT! The company needs to abide by the contract they signed, and restore every employee and retiree, pre arbritration, whole.
