Bojack

Nothing succeeds like failure at Tri-Met

They gave out raises to all the suits while the transit agency hurtles toward bankruptcy. All the while, the head honcho, who handed himself a 3% raise, was telling the public and the union that there was a management pay freeze in place. That guy needs a new gig somewhere else. And his board of know-nothing directors should be incarcerated.

According to the Oregonian's Joe Rose, McFarlane now pays himself $36,000 a year MORE than the head of Seattle's larger King County Metro.

Oh, and he and Tiffany Sweitzer both agree that they'll have to "do better" with handling raises in some undefined future situation. I bet both had a hard time keeping a straight face as they expressed that noble sentiment.

I told Joe that in a comment on an earlier story. Glad to hear he's picking that up (which of course is a hats off to you Chad).
