Clear thinking in Washington state leaves the CRC in doubt

Despite all the rhetoric from the Washington governor and the US Transportation Secretary there are clearer thinking heads in the state of Washington. Spending, or keep spending, money seems to be the goal of the governor and the secretary. [Two Washington Senate leaders throw cold water on Columbia River Crossing funding]
Interesting, if you have nearly 30 minutes, See the video: Behind closed doors, Washington lawmakers berate LaHood over Columbia River Crossing. It was meant to be confidential, but it was 'mistakenly' published.

It is difficult to hear at times, but it is clear that LaHood wasn't given a free pass by the majority caucus. However, in Oregon money was offered up with not even a whimper. Maybe that tells us which state will benefit more from the outrageous expenditures for a bridge not needed.
