Executives cut service and drivers in Washington but keep their jobs

As usual, government works for the people that work in it not the people that need it. Here we see Pierce County transit  sticking it to their riders. I have always felt all the non transit delievery staff should be eliminated BEFORE even one bus driver or mechanic is eliminated. Of course that doesn't happen in the real world. Also note at the bottom of the article how local 758 is giving a no-confidence vote to good old Lynne Griffith, the former director of C-Trans, and current CEO of Pierce Transit.

One of the reasons: Pierce Transit has too many managers...

Sound familiar? A theme at many transit agencies across the country, I'm sure.
