Green Line = Pickle Line?

Green Line = Pickle Line?

Latest "seen and heard on Trimet"

But not seen on TRIMET'S HOW WE ROLL BLOG!

Hey ...feel like having a bus show up at Stop #2580? Over 30 of us, just waiting for a bus to feel like dropping by...
TRIMET SCANNER TWEETS

Oh no-this A-Hole attended the Lao retirement party

Glad I missed it. Like Mcfarlane cares, he probably never heard of Jim Lao until today.

WHO'S AGAINST TRIMET WORKERS?

TRIMET BREAKS THE LAW-OVER AND OVER AND OVER

Yet that hack Mcfarlane sits in the general managers office.
This is truly one fucked up situation we have here (excuse language)
Cronyism from top to bottom.

BILL ENDING TRIMET ARBITRATION ON THE FLOOR

I am dead certain that Mcfarlane knows that there is no solidarity among the bus drivers.
What he fails to understand is that MECHANICS, SIGNAL TECHS, AND OTHER SPECIALIZED UNION employees have a HUGE amount of solidarity.
Even if the greedy "thank god we have a job" weak knead bus operators ignore a strike, the other employees, the ones that make sure the buses and light rail move, will walk.
Personally I think a shut down of Trimet is long overdue.
It's time to show Mcfarlane and his six figured Hench men who runs this transit system

BRUCE HANSEN SHOULD NOT GIVE IN

I fully support ATU 757 president Bruce Hansen's boycotting of the labor talks.
Trimet continues to use bully tactics to get its way and there is no point negotiating with bullies.
Mcfarlane says he will be heading down to Salem to reverse the binding arbitration rule.
Last time I looked the house and senate was evenly split between republicans and democrats. With a 'democrat' (term used loosely) in the governors chair. (kitzhaber won election because of union support, but he has chosen to turn his back on unions, not surprising since they all are Repulicrats in reality)
Good luck Mcfarlane trying to get that reversed, of course any legislators who vote in favor should be cut off from any further union support.
Don't negotiate with bullies!
If you let a bully come in your front yard, he'll be on your porch the next day and the day after that he'll rape your wife in your own bed.

THE NATION COVERS NYC BUS DRIVERS STRIKE

The city wants to cut transportation costs and has put bus contracts with private bus companies up for bid. The union is criticizing lack of employee protections, fearing current drivers may lose their jobs once contracts expire in June.
Writing for Alternet, Molly Knefel explains how the privatization effort is part of a push for widespread austerity:

Lane Jensen keeps on trucking despite huge resistance
A bus running a stop sign hardly qualifies as 'news' except in Portlandia.
But I have to say I have enjoyed  the ringside seat to the latest circus.
And I get some satisfaction watching Lane bust Trimet.
Lets face facts regarding Lane and Trimet.
He has been treated shabbily since he showed up on the scene so there is some poetic justice in  this latest soap opera.
Mistreated by bus operators, ignored by customer service, harassed by supervisory personnel. He never deserved any of that as far as I am concerned.
I have always been a Lane Jensen supporter.
He has plenty of foes out there but he keeps on trucking.
And there is a streak of brilliance in there no doubt.
GOOD JOB LANE!
