C-TRAN BLAMES TRIMET
This is a fairly interesting incident (see below post) a Trimet driver first alleged an 'assault' which turned into an 'accident' claiming the C-Tran bus 'hit' him.
The Trimet driver was even see by medical.
But when C-Tran investigated they came back and told the Trimet supervisor that it was the Trimet drivers fault.
And that was that.
I doubt very much had the allegation gone the other way Trimet would have handled it like that.
Nice to see such a loyalty to their drivers from C-Tran.

TRIMET WHORE MARY FETSCH
Yes this is disrespectful but why should I show any respect for any of these managers who have no ethics? FORGET IT
Mcfarlane to hire crony Barbara Ramirez Spencer
This woman is another 'insider' that has been serving on the budget committee, the criminal Mcfarlane who is in the process of raping Trimet finances for himself and all of his pals decided she should have a nice big fat contract
She is listed in this Portland A Foot article

Mary Fetsch says a lot of nothing
Notice Fetsch's description of the consultant uses lots of buzzwords w/o actually saying what this does for riders. twitter.com/maxfaqs/status…

MCFARLANE IS RAPING TRIMET AND PORTLAND
Mcfarlane is obviously trying to bankrupt Trimet. It's as obvious as the nose on your face.
And he is getting away with it.
And he is getting away with it.
How much more of Mcfarlanes arrogance do we need to see?
This man Mcfarlane is so insulting to the public and the employees that I don't know how he continues to get away with his crimes. Yes crimes, misuse of tax payers funds (conducting anti union propaganda) and lies (hiding records from Joe Rose, complaining of budget problems while swelling ranks of executives).
I'm serious, this man needs to be indicted for something.
But McFarlane apparently thinks there's still enough cash flowing to expand the agency's executive ranks. And those jobs don't come cheap.
TriMet has confirmed that the general manager is "in conversation" with Bob Nelson, the agency's former executive director of operations, to serve as an interim deputy GM.
"Bob will help assess the role of a permanent deputy GM and how that position might be structured to improve service delivery to the community," said spokeswoman Mary Fetsch. "TriMet has had this position in the past, and it is common in the transit industry."
At the same time, McFarlane is talking to high-powered consultant Barbara Ramirez Spencer for a limited-term position.
"She spent nearly 20 years at the nation's largest transit district (New York City's MTA)," Fetsch wrote in an email.
"She is an accomplished executive with significant experience in public, private and academic organizations. A strategic thinker and creative problem-solver with strong leadership, planning, operational and change management skills. She also has a strong commitment to organizational integrity, effectiveness and renewal."

TRIMET STUPID RULES
Trimet has a very regressive and punitive system for taking time off. Each garage only allows so many people to be off on any particular day.
At Merlo garage they allow 7 people to sign the vacation book each day.
The book opens 30 days ahead of the scheduled days off.
The book opens at midnight on the 30th day before a any day off.
What this means is that operators have to be at the office at midnight 30 days before days off.
Even if they have to be up at 4 in the morning the next day operators need to be at the office midnight the day the book opens.
Trimet cares about fatigue, well they have lots of work over there to to do in order revise policies that cause driver exhaustion.
One of these policies is forcing operators to sign a book to get a day off at midnight.
