Is Trimet really safe from a potential terrorist threat?
I haven't watched the video. However, ANY public transit system is vulnerable to terrorism. Nothing to stop a suicide bomber from hopping onto a bus and letting it go. Or just wait at a stop for the bus to come and blow yourself up. To try to defend against such attacks would prove fruitless, unwieldy, and make public transit impractical.
Not defending TriMet, but I just don't see how this can be ascribed only to TriMet.
