TRIMET'S 1 YEAR PROPOSAL
I'm looking at this, and it seems much better than what we got now, and not all that bad as a potential compromise. Am I missing something?
I'm as confused as you are, Al. Maybe the union lawyers think they'd be undercutting their argument with the arbitrator if a bridge agreement contained health care takebacks of any kind?
Actually Michael it was explained to me that Mr McFarlane's fascist moves preempt any sort of compromise.
There is some logic in that I suppose. I'm a realist however, the writing on the wall is clear to me (and you I am sure). We are going to have to give back something, the whole world is in turmoil right now, and that includes Trimet.
