It is a true fact that the Oregon Sustainability Center, including a diagonal opening for two tracks, was planned for that block, and that building around and over active streetcar tracks is much more complicated.

ReplyDeleteI'm not saying who should fund the improvement (and developers have contributed in the past), just that it's not Streetcar's fault that other pieces of the urban puzzle didn't fall as early or as planned.

ReplyDeleteThe asinine thing duplicated already existing service and screwed the riders on the west side completely out of their bus service
