Milwaukie trying to convince voters to raise their property taxes

If it were me I would vote no, but I vote no on every single ballot measure asking for more taxes from citizens. Our local governments have proven a million times over that they are not to be trusted.

The website, milwaukiebond.com, says the $4 million bond will help preserve city services and lock in an interest rate lower than the city's five percent rate, which would save money over the 20 year life of the bond. The measure will appear on the May 20 ballot.
