This entire issue of operator assaults could be solved with one simple solution that doesn't involve the police state industrial complex, EFFECTIVE BUS DRIVER BARRIERS, like the one above, not the shit they are using now.

I guess they just forgot to mention that they cut bus service and failed the region

I'm sure it was just an honest mistake https://t.co/cVEzh0yOAG
There was a ton of public comment on this item against this, but as we know public comment is just window dressing, all decisions regarding the district are made by the owners of the district, the executive class along with the Portland elites
My uncle's body was found yesterday (Christmas day) on the frozen ground. He had dementia and no one saw to it that he got back on the Trimet Lift after his appointment on Thursday. He was missing and died alone, probably confused, and cold. Our hearts are broken and haunted.

But we (actual people) are saddled with a criminal ruling class that is robbing us blind and doing nothing to solve the actual problems
MBTA like TriMet has a labor "problem"
And the unions, inept and corrupted as they are, are doing nothing either
These attacks are getting more and more frequent

This will be my last video coverage of the scummy TriMet executives doing their corruption in plain sight for now. I'll be back after the new year if I live that long

Or "they" don't want to give us to much time to go over what they are doing, which is a distinct possibility

A transit expert is not someobody who studied transit through a mostly financial framework in college. A transit expert is someone who's dependant on it and has had to chase a bus in the rain, get kicked off or degraded for fare evasion or is dependant on it.

Metro continues to have daily bus cancellations due to staffing levels. We asked if this was going to lead to service reductions like other agencies. Metro tells us they won’t reduce service levels and is operating >99% of all scheduled trips on their all-day, frequent network. pic.twitter.com/OqXOmnT3TM

Couple of thoughts on TriMet’s service reduction:
— Don Iler (@doniler) December 4, 2021
1. Drivers, myself included, are exhausted. Working the extra board the past few months has been miserable. Sure it’s a lot of cash, but it’s not healthy to work this much and the amount of hours has made me think about other jobs https://t.co/OX7QmBdNSH
Sam admits that TriMet is a failed transit system

As far as I’m concerned this was a controlled demolition of Amerikkan public transportation

The model they are using is a failure
Go back to hiring FULL TIME operators out of the gate and put them at top wage!
