    Years ago, TriMet used to have a pretty damn good bus fleet page.

    Interestingly, that went away.

    Hmmmmmmmm....................

    (I'm sure Jason McHuff has a perfectly logical explanation as to why there is no detail on the bus fleet, while there's a huge write-up on the MAX/WES fleet including datasheets like:

    Note: no mention of the actual types of buses, ages, fuel economy, interior features, how many vehicles have air conditioning or which buses are low floor...

    Unfortunately the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine website isn't working right now to take a trip back in time to the pre-Fred Hansen, anti-bus days to see TriMet's once very detailed and elaborate bus fleet website.

    We can see what King County Metro has, though:

    All of those pages were done when the vehicles were introduced. And when the 2900's were new, they were indeed announced on the Web.

    And there are many, many agencies which don't have information about their fleets on their Web sites.
