Bus Stop Workshop: Action Meeting for the EPBS Project
he goal of this project is to increase the number of transit rides and walking by residents of low-income communities and communities of color in East Portland
This is my problem with OPAL.
They are a great organization but TriMet shouldn't be playing political games to favor one part of the region over another.
It's all or nothing. That's what we've been told that TriMet needs to be. A regional system, or none at all.
That means EVERY bus stop, from Troutdale to Tigard and from Forest Grove to the Sherwood Forest and from the Portland Airport to the Hillsboro Airport needs to be fully improved. Not just those in East Portland in "neighborhoods of color". Every stop.
