UNION BOSS GETS NO JAIL TIME

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The president of the TriMet union will not spend any time behind bars.
A judge sentenced Jonathan Hunt to a diversion program yesterday.
He was convicted of DUII last week.
Hunt was arrested last December when police say they found him asleep at the wheel at a Gresham stoplight.
His blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit, police say.

(Is it not true that CDL holders are not eligible for diversion?)

  1. This must have been his first DUII conviction. He'd better not screw up again. Still, he ought to lose his CDL certification and be forced to retake the tests.
