ADA FOLLIES

Our mad managers, the hysterics that run this place, so quick to jump on its front line employees all the while hiding the gross incompetence of themselves, make such a big deal out of the stop's being called.

Management abrogated its promised upgrades to its bus system, now in their attempt to cover their own asses are finding ways of pointing fingers at operators,  which has been the technique used by management for some time now.

One of the glaring flaws in the ADA is the complete ignoring of the needs of the DEAF!

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THE ADA TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR DEAF PEOPLE TO HELP USE TRANSIT!

Interesting isn't it?

  1. Didn't you know that you're supposed to stop the bus at least 1,000 feet before the stop, tie it down, stand up, and then announce the next stop in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, German, French, Korean, Japanese and Tagalog, sign the stop, hold up a sign that has the stop name printed (and in all of the above languages), and then proceed to the stop.

And, do this while maintaining your schedule.
