ACCORDING TO TRIMET PIN HEADS-THERE ARE NO BLIND SPOTS
Looking at the pics of the new 3000 series Gillig, TriMet specified the same mirrors as the New Flyer buses. I cannot understand why they didn't use the boomerang mirrors that attach near the roofline. Thomas uses these on their school buses and I believe C -tran uses them on their Gillig low floors. Maybe they have problems in the washbay. Oh wait, we don't wash our buses! Part of the Day lawsuit specifically points out the mirrors and their location for creating blindspots. Imagine my surprise when our brand new buses arrive with the same setup.
