TRIMET Activist H.B.

Brothers and Sisters,

Here is reason number 5 to fill out work cards and acid numbers for issues dealing with the "DIRTY BUS" issues.
As Brother Fung shows in his continuing struggle to show that Trimet cares for the public's well being, he discovered visible mold on the bus.  In an effort to bring an awareness to the health problems "we" face on a daily basis, he, myself and "others" try in an effort to get either Trimet or the union (in name only) to take steps to protect the general public and operators of bus/train.  Both have failed "us" miserably.  I understand Trimet's position, "if the public doesn't know about it, it doesn't exist.
The union (in name only), is either "too scared" or has made a "deal" with McFarlane, to not create any waves.  This "is" sheer non-sence, on April 3, 2012 "we" lost another well respected Brother Pete Smith, a well liked, and always smiling, overall nice guy, to cancer.  This situation should be the main focus for the union (in name only).  Yet time and again, "our" health care IS being bartered away at the first signs of light at the end of the tunnel.  I guess that a deal was struck, when PSU did there study on the "dirty bus" back on
(http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2011/07/riding_trimet_plenty_of_bugs_c.html ), Wednesday, July 13, 2011, that the union (in name only), keep their mouth shut.  Which so far has happened, IT'S BEEN 9+ months now, and "we" press the "paid employees" to do something and they don't.  the rumors that "we" are getting "used" by our paid employees is true, as long as the money rolls in, in the tune of $350,000 dollars and unlimited use of credit cards and the continuing of "their" secret society, no one dares to say a thing, "they" just ignore "our" concerns and spend, spend, spend.  When is enough, enough?  As I and others have said "HOW MANY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS do "we" have to lose" before this actually becomes an issue.  One "is" too many and 6 or 7 in 6mths is unacceptable.  Apparently, Trimet and "our" paid employees made a deal to turn their backs on "us" day-to-day workers.  Another rumor, is that "our" paid employee is on another trip, on "our" dime, and not at the negociating table with McFarlane, or doing a news conference, to give "our" side, nor in public meetings arguing "our" side to the general public, another failure of leadership (in name only).  Or the other rumor that the union (in name only) had a lackey escort 3 people from the airport, again on "our" dime, instead of giving them "day passes" and have them ride the redline home.  These are rumors, and I know it, but ask yourselves, just WHAT this union leadership (in name only) is doing????  When did "we" put up a fight???  When did "we" make progress in negociations????  What personel issues did "we" get adressed (other than schedules)???
There is a war on unions, and I see why, they hit "us" from outside and they hit us from the inside.
When is enough, enough??  "We" need to unite against the ills of "our" exploiters.
Unless "we" are heard, the more "we" will shout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and shout some more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Henry.
p.s. here is a few examples of what you can see, that can harm you, along with Brother Fung's pic.  Also I have attached mold symptoms, that you can look at and see if you are being effected, often because, it's not what you can see that can harm you more.

  1. The truth will set us free, H.B.. One person (ie. Rosa Parks or even someone like Erin Brockovich) can affect one helluva alot of change when they act unafraid and steadfastly shine a light on a particuliarly outrageous situation. Keep at it H.B. and
    you too Mr. Fung.
