Are you freaking kidding? TriMet should pay $40 bucks PER rider to deal with the flawed 12/94 transfer?
I would like to know, TO THE PENNY, how much money TriMet is saving by splitting the 12 line at Tigard. My guess is that it's not saving anything and in fact it is COSTING TriMet money. The 12 line has run to Sherwood since when, the early 1980s? Would TriMet consider ending the Blue Line at Gateway and forcing riders to walk three blocks to catch a train to Gresham? Of course not. So why the bus?

ReplyDeleteWhere in the world did you get that amount from?
I would like to know, TO THE PENNY
Do you want them to spend the money to figure it out? Because getting accurately to that granular of a level would be very costly, if even possible.

No, Barbur Blvd/Pacific Hwy service has been provided by Lines 5 and I think 44. See http://gallery.transitq.com/v/trimet/j9gbor/

Isn't it true that you can transfer at other places as well that aren't so far away? And is it really a 3-block walk?
