TODAY TRIMET DID A BLOG POST ABOUT THEIR EXCELLENT POLICE STATE

These are the winning comments by thumbs up-funny the second place winner, all the other top thumbs up were critics so something is wrong there

THE WINNER-NICO BELLA
  • Nico Bella You know what your riders would really like? Your buses to run on time and for you to stop increasing the prices and decreasing the utility of the service. Instead of kowtowing to your latest price increase I invested in rain gear and will be biking this winter. The 20-25 dollars a week in lost revenue may not be of huge consequence to you but I am one of many. It's not like my pay went up to off set the change and if I average 40 bus rides a month that is 36.00 extra dollars just to make my S.E.to Downtown commute.
Do I see a $36.00 improvement in drivers attitude?
    No.
Do I see a $36.00 improvement in timeliness?
    Goodness, no.
So stop asking for more money only to give less.
I hope that your company will clue in to the importance of serving the needs of the city you operate in.

     SECOND PLACE
Nick Klouda good job, I think you guys should be cracking down on people not paying their fare. I pay for an annual pass, and it drives me crazy that people think it's a free system.

    THIRD PLACE IS A TIE
Villalobos Carranza Trimet we should give you a ticket for not having your machines working. Actually who gets evidence of it and then a ticket from your enforcer, he (she) should sue you.

    • Kyle Davis i swear every time a ticket machine is busted I have to video myself trying to get a ticket and say the date and time. I still get harassed for not having a ticket even though I have the evidence. Best thing though, still takes a month for the machine to get fixed. I'm looking at you 82nd station.
    4TH PLACE IT A TIE

Jake Taco Asher So, fares go up and services go down to pay for this?

    • Chory Ferguson Why do you need attack dogs on trains?
Scott Ely Where are all the extra funds coming from for the dogs and officers?
