We all know about the bus driver that got stabbed using the porta potty.
But there were two other recent stabbings.
One was today at Parkrose, and another was earlier in the week on the 72 line. In that case the operator was so distraught over the incident she couldnt get back to the garage, a manager had to come get her.
The media is only reporting what they want to report, and of course they don't want people to fear the transit system right?
Trimet is safe says talking head Harry. Right Harry, we believe you, sure we do
Remember, TriMet is in violation of HR 166 on Safety and Security which states: Safety and security must be primary to all decisions and actions. This agency is entrusted to “provide” safe and secure transit to the public and safe working conditions for employees. Competent operators, quality maintenance, and informed decisions about construction, chemical and products help to protect everyone. This policy falls under the umbrella of Labor Relations and HR (for employee conduct rules) Meaning Randy (Stedman) rules. Also it means that under his leadership all amenities that the drivers who have been there more than 6yrs have been taken away as part of the talking points managememt has been using, case in point, things like "service cuts" are the unions fault. So I'm assuming ops saftey is the union fault. Rediculous.
