What about crony Bob Nelson and his pork?

The following is from PORTLAND TRANSIT LANE:

After my one man protest at the TriMet board meeting, I found out some interesting information. Both my numbers and the TriMet budget is correct.
Dave Auxier
Dave Auxier is the CFO for TriMet. He explained to me how everything worked.
Robert (Bob) Nelson will become the Deputy General Manager on July 8, 2013. In the meantime, Bob is a consultant to TriMet. Bob flies in once every couple weeks, works a few days, and goes back home. Currently, Bob is making $100 an hour. For a annual salary, TriMet uses 2,080 hours (40 hours a week multiplied by 52 weeks). Someone in the Legal department forgot to mark Bob as a consultant, not a full time employee. Lets do the math: $100 an hour multiplied by 40 hours is $4,000 a week. $4,000 times 52 weeks is $208,000.
According to Auxier, Once Nelson is rehired, he will also receive his pension, just like Auxier.
