SMOKE-FREE TRIMET BEGINS MONDAY: 3 days to go

Monday marks the first day of smoke-free TriMet. All TriMet campuses will soon have all ashtrays and smoking shelters removed. Effective July 1, no one will be allowed to smoke on TriMet property. The policy does not change anything in public spaces such as bus stops and transit centers. Smoking is already prohibited in all bus shelters and most rail platforms.
