Trimet's HUGE error here is saying that Metro has no transfers Metro has owl service and express service for a smaller higher cost
Adult age 19-64 =$2.25 (0ff peak all zone) $2.50 (peak one zone) $3.00 (peak 2 zone)(Trimet=$2.50 beats Metro during peak hours only)
Senior+disabled =75¢ (Trimet $1.00 25% higher)
Youth age 6-18=$1.25 (trimet $1.65)
Let's see how passes stack up:
Adult pass is $81 (Trimet=$100)
Senior/disabled is $27 (Trimet= $26)
Youth is $45 (Trimet=$30)
The only real difference is that Seattle has peak hour fares
You forgot TriMet said we have no transfers, when in fact (pun intended), we do. Plus we have owl transfers, and a lot of express service for the bit of higher cost.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget service area, no comp. Seattle is bigger, period.
