THE REAL STORY OF THE 'TEXTING' BUS DRIVER

This picture set off another feeding frenzy of media attacks against those 'lazy, shiftless, unreliable, and hazardous' Trimet bus drivers.

It took me a few days to realize that this story was most likely a 'plant'. That is to say it was set up by Trimet itself in order to use it against bus drivers in its ongoing war against their own employees. These type of sensationalist stories are a prime example of YELLOW JOURNALISM and Trimet  showed its culpability by not presenting the real facts of the situation when they had the facts to refute the story.
