TRIMET PROPAGANDA INFECTS THE AREA

Boy Trimet has sure got its money worth out of this telephone application. The propaganda has been so skillfully placed that many Portland's think that Trimet is the first place in the world that offers tickets via cell phone. The fact of the matter is that it has been available for some time in Europe. And you can buy tickets with your cell phone for many commuter lines run by transit districts also for some time.
The only thing different is that Trimet is allowing it to be used on all its transit services. Remember however, that Trimet does not have that many fare categories to deal with in the first place.

It is not an innovation, but the propaganda has been successfully planted and bought hook line and sinker by the population, as usual.

Notice how the tweet says Portland is the first place to allow mobile ticketing but the article clearly says its been available in other cities. Pure Trimet bullshit
