WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SUPPOSED MEDIA COVERAGE OF THESE NEGOTIATIONS?

Both sides had agreed to allow mainstream media (aka the legacy media) to report on the contact negotiations. There were no members of the media present at today's meeting?

What happened? Both sides now agree that there should be no press coverage of these meetings?

Where we 'played' on this? I think so.

  1. I think the mainstream media could care less about this; in the same sense that the care less about the board meetings.

  3. As you know Max, the bloggers were ready and willing to cover this event.

I don't believe either party wanted the coverage in reality, it was all huff and puff.

  4. My opinion:

The ATU really did want the public to be there; but they caved when they were labelled as stalling the negotiations.

TriMet never wanted this to be public.

  5. Well in that event ATU is a bunch of Lilly livered officers. Cave to that which means bad news for what else they might cave too
