    In all fairness, TriMet is responding to their customers first need in supplying transit service to them during a disruption. That counts. They do not discard HOS-in fac,t they will monitor it carefully.

  3. They know that people who used to enjoy doing a little overtime, needed to be put down, by implementing HOS; to spite their own face with these liabilites and failiers. Now they need people, that's why HOS DOES NOT WORK!

  4. CMVSA Motor Carrier changed the Hours Of Service rules July 1, 2013

    The only discrepancy at
    Trimet is the 9 hour off duty rule for the exhausted extra board vs the 10 hour off duty rule for the well rested regular operators.

    This was decided by the union president all on his own. When the next "Big Accident" happens the union president will take the hit and not Trimet management, smart!
